The Agricultural students’ Career Guidance & Mentorship Dialogue Bootcamp (AG-STUD), is a practical beginner Agribusiness initiative designed to develop agric students, beginner agribusinesses, and start-ups’ expertise, while also exposing them to the dynamics of the market, through education and leadership programs essential for achieving success in agriculture and agribusiness.

The program was launched in 2018 with the main event coming off in March,2019

What is AG-STUD?

The Agricultural students’ Career Guidance & Mentorship Dialogue Bootcamp (AG-STUD), is a practical beginner Agribusiness initiative designed to develop agric students, beginner agribusinesses, and start-ups’ expertise, while also exposing them to the dynamics of the market, through education and leadership programs essential for achieving success in agriculture and agribusiness.

What Do We Seek To Achieve

The program seeks to develop youth and students leadership, discuss challenges and opportunities in the corporate world of agribusiness, the value chain system, farm management skills in beginning farmers or agriculturist, and, additionally, teach them to apply lessons and knowledge acquired to their businesses

What Is The Style Of AG-STUD?

Typically, the Bootcamp brings agribusiness students from all colleges and universities/institutions together for a week, where they are groomed to develop a business idea and present their proposals to Judges who then pick the ultimate business team.

In our effort to establish these businesses and create sustainable jobs from them, Agrihouse has formed “BUSINESS CLUBS” in selected institutions, giving them a business structure.

The goal is to establish the clubs throughout all institutions across Ghana. So far, 12 of such business ideas have been established and are thriving well.

What Is The Running Order For AG-STUD?

It is a 5-DAY PROGRAM that employs mentorship and educational sessions, business tools, inspirational and professional speakers in a structured setting; it also includes on-site experiences such as tours to agro-based companies and farms. The program is attended by SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS, AGRIC COLLEGES, FARM INSTITUTES, UNIVERSITIES, START-UPS, and BEGINNER AGRIBUSINESSES.
