The International Farmers and Agribusiness’ Resilience and Sustainability Convention( INTERFACS) sets an ideal stage for an open, informed discussion, roundtable debate and dialogue, on major sociol, human and environmental obstacles, that hinders the development of a buoyant Agri-economic, market resilience and self- sustainable Agri- institution.
INTERFAC will assess the short, medium and long-term performance of the main agricultural subsectors (livestock, poultry, crops, and fisheries, aquaculture), including production, agro-processing, warehousing, storage, forestry, transportation, Finance, climate, ICT and their contributions to livelihoods, and also, to building a market resilience and self-sustained eco-system.
It also seeks to draw children, Youth and Media to take action within the chain, have a share of voice and be part of the process in beginning a new era of consciousness and continuous engagements, to laying a foundation for Agribusiness, with resilience at the forefront, including children and youth alike.
The platform will equally analyze the sector’s major development constraints, challenges, the potential for growth, policy and institutional reforms, donor drive, marketing and investment options.
